Sandcastle has four bedrooms, all en suite. Two rooms have sea views and all the rooms have separate entrances and doors to the patios. The rooms also have air conditioning, TV and internet connection. We have three double rooms (queen size beds) and one room with two single beds. Smoking permitted on the outside balconies.
Breakfast is served on the second floor with a lovely view of the beach. The third floor has an excellent view of Table Mountain, the long stretch of beach of Melkbos and Robben Island. Here guests can sit on the outside deck or inside in the entertainment lounge where there are books, videos and board games. Guests can also relax at the swimming pool down stairs. Beach towels are available on request.
Sandcastle has been graded a three star bed-and-breakfast by the Tourism Council of South Africa.
Sandcastle is close to several restaurants on Beach road and the nearest big shopping centre is also a few kilometers away. The swimming beach is a couple of meters away, popular for kite-surfing, surfing and fishing. There is also a jetty on the main beach, popular for powerboat-racing and jet skiing. The Sandcastle B&B is situated in Melkbosstrand,
a town on the Atlantic coast and border with
the West Coast.
Our establishment, close to the beach, shops and restaurants, offers beach views and the private deck upstairs has views of Table Mountain and Robben Island. The upstairs lounge also offers a place for private time, watching tv, reading, playing board games and panoramic views. All the rooms are en-suite and have TV (DSTV), airconditioning and internet connection.
The rooms also walk out onto the patios and sun deck.
The swimming pool area is another area where guests can relax.

DirectionsFrom the Airport, take the N2 towards Cape Town. On the N2 take Exit 14 -> Goodwood /Epping/ N7 Malmesbury ( Second Exit from the Airport) and at the top of the bridge turn right into Vanguard Drive
Drive straight for 27km until you reach a sign on your left reading M19 Melkbosstrand.
Turn left here and follow this road for 9km to a set of traffic lights.
Go straight over the R27(traffic lights) into Melkbosstrand.
After crossing the R27 traffic lights, turn to your right at the second street(Otto du Plessis), the sign says Duynefontein.
Turn left at the first street (Atalanta str)
Continue to the T-junction and turn right into Mostert Street.
Continue with Mostert Street to the end of the street. We are on the left, no 105 Mostert Str
