ACCOMMODATION: Bed and Breakfast:
Zauberberg Cottage offers three beautifully decorated double rooms in a charming garden setting, with individual entrances, en-suite bathrooms, TV, ceiling fan and heater. You will appreciate the unique comfort of sleeping in fine, hand-painted linen under a down duvet and on a comfortable mattress! Two of our rooms can also be combined to form a small suite with an interleading door.
Self Catering Cottage:
Our separate cottage is fully equipped for self-catering and ideal for honeymooners, families with children and friends wishing to stay together in one building. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed; an additional small bedroom is equipped with two bunk beds. A kitchenette and a bathroom complement this little house built in original log style. The cottage's patio offers a stunning view over our garden, the lagoon and parts of the town - it is the ideal place to have your sundowner.
You have a choice of double rooms en-suite, with self-catering facilities, or B+B accommodation. Our two cottages - called the Lemon Tree Cottage and the Cypress Cottage - are ideal for small families or couples.
The Lemon Tree Cottage | The comfortable guest lounge is part of the Lemon Tree Cottage. This is also where we serve our “Continental Health Breakfast” - muesli, fruit, fresh bread, cheese and meat, real filter coffee and tea ... the best way to start a relaxing day! In the evenings you can help yourself at our honesty bar and relax by the fire side, or on the deck outside. | | |

On the second floor you will find the magnificent Guest Lounge which offers a magnificent view onto the lagoon, a fireplace, cooking facilities inside and an outside gas braai. Bedrooms have private garden entrances and their own bathroom with shower. Our Lemon Tree Cottage is ideal for up to 5 adults. The Cypress Cottage Our Cypress Cottage is the ideal hideaway for a young family or couple. In addition to an open plan main bedroom with kitchenette and a full bathroom it offers a private patio with beautiful views of the Knysna Lagoon.

FacilitiesDINING Meat and fish barbecues - known to South Africans as "braais" - can also be arranged. On special occasions such as the Knysna Marathon or Knysna Cycle Race, we prepare hearty pre-race dinners for the competitors. We will be pleased to assist you in your choice of restaurant should you wish to go out for lunch or dinner and will of course make the necessary bookings for you. Knysna boasts many fine restaurants - and no visiting gourmet will want to miss out on the famous Knysna Oysters!
GUEST LOUNGE: Our Guest Lounge at Zauberberg Cottage offers you the warm ambience of a Knysna log-home. In summer you can step outside onto the elevated sun deck and let your eyes wander across the tree tops in our garden to find the birds: the Knysna Loerie, the Kingfisher, the Hoopoe, the Oriole, many different types of Sunbirds - they all come to visit us regularly.
Both the sun deck and the lounge offer magnificent views of the lagoon, the Knysna Heads and the rolling waves of the Indian Ocean. You will find an honesty-bar and tea and coffee / espresso facilities for your convenience. BREAKFAST: Breakfasts at Zauberberg Cottage are served either in the Guest Lounge, or on the sun deck. We serve a Continental Breakfast - with filter coffee, various types of teas, fresh fruit juices and fruit salad, cereals, croissants, bread, jams, cold meats and cheeses: in short - everything you need for a healthy start into in the new day!
