In the Franschhoek Valley on the banks of the Berg River, surrounded by vineyards and dramatic mountain views, Klein Waterval Riverside Lodge offers friendly country hospitality in a relaxed farm atmosphere. Stylish en-suite double bedrooms, each with its own entrance and private terrace, overlook tranquil gardens and vineyards.

Accommodation

The Rooms

We currently offer 12 luxurious and comfortable rooms, some of which are under thatch. Four of the rooms are facing natural gardens alongside the pool and the rest are just below a small stream looking onto the farm's vineyards.

Simple but Stylish

5 Rooms - twin beds with an en-suite shower (no bath.)

5 Rooms - twin/double beds with an en-suite bath and shower.

2 Suites - double beds with en-suite full bathroom and separate lounge.

The Style

Twelve comfortable en suite rooms with great views of the surrounding mountain ranges. A large swimming-pool, breakfast room, fireplace and honesty bar. And a five minute walk to the famous Berg River through our vineyards.

Very Relaxed

Start the day with a wholesome Continental or Farmhouse breakfast or even just a coffee and some fruit. Each room has a private entrance & verandah, ceiling fans and television (including M-Net.)

Breakfast Room

The Breakfast Room is comfortable and relaxed either outside alongside a river or indoors with a lounge and fireplace where a delicious wholesome farm breakfast is served.

The Bar

The bar, fully licenced and constructed from sleeper wood, looks out onto a verandah where regular 'braais' are held in view of the vineyards and Franschhoek's beautiful mountains.

Conference Room

The Conference Room opens onto a deck that overlooks vineyards and spectacular mountains, the venue seats up to 45 delegates with basic facilities and breakaway rooms.
