DirectionsClosest Airport: Cape Town International Airport Distance: 34 km - 20 minutes. Complimentary transfers are available to the airport between 07h00 and 22h00 daily. Expect 30 to 40 minute delays during peak traffic times Morning: 07h30 to 09h00 Afternoon: 16h00 to 17h30 N2 - From Cape Town International Airport: Travel along the N2, direction Cape Town City Centre. The N2 splits in two to become De Waal Drive and the Eastern Boulevard. Groote Schuur Hospital will be on your right, Table Mountain on your left. Route 1 - De Waal Drive: As you approach and pass the hospital, move to the left side of the highway and take De Waal Drive (M3) by hugging the left lane. Continue on De Waal Drive all the way to town - DO NOT TURN BEFORE THE BRIDGE! Pass under the bridge. You are now in Roeland Street leading to the House of Parliament. At the first traffic light turn right into De Villiers Street. At the next traffic light turn right into Constitution Street - the Best Western Cape Suites Hotel entrance will be immediately on the right, with the gardens of the Cape Technikon on your left. Route 2 - Eastern Boulevard: Travelling along the N2, direction Cape Town, remain on the right hand side of the highway - the side closest to the hospital. You will then be on the Eastern Boulevard. Travel along the Eastern Boulevard until you see Hertzog Boulevard exit. This will exit left. There are two exits quite close together - Strand Street and Hertzog Boulevard. Hertzog is the second of the two, right after Strand. At the bottom of the Hertzog Boulevard ramp, you will come to a traffic light. Turn left at this light and continue straight up the hill. Pass the Good Hope Centre and the Cape Technikon buildings on your left. The hotel is the peach coloured building directly ahead. Turn left into Constitution Street and the entrance is immediately on your right. N1 - From Paarl: On the N1, direction Cape Town, keep to the right of the highway as you approach the city. Exit the N1 at the exit marked CITY EAST, HEERENGRACHT. Turn left at the first traffic lights into Oswald Pirow Street. You will now be facing Table Mountain. Continue straight through the next intersection and over the bridge. The railway station is on your right and Good Hope Centre (a large domed building) on your left. Continue up the hill. You are now in Terrant Street, with the modern Cape Technikon buildings on the left. Continue past these building to Constitution Street. The hotel is the peach coloured building directly ahead. Turn left into Constitution Street and immediately right into the Best Western Cape Suites Hotel entrance.
