For finer dining, Fogeys Railway House, with the best views of the 42km Muizenberg beach overlooking surfers corner, gets top marks for dinner, dancing, live music and great service. Baltazar is another little gem tucked away in the little streets of the village.

| AttractionsAshcrofts is ideally situated: the Indian ocean is a 2 minute drive away, with the pristine white sands of Muizenberg beach, with its colourful beach huts, and the famous surfers corner where the young and 'not so young' surfers meet.
The quaint fishing village of Kalk Bay is a delightful place. Its vibrant people, superb restaurants and quirky shops, where you can browse for hours. Deep sea fishing and shark viewing trips can be arranged from this harbour. You can buy fresh fish directly from the local fishermen and braai (barbeque) here in the garden.
Top of the range golf courses Royal Cape, Steenberg, Westlake and Clovelly are a 15 minute drive and bookings can be arranged and transfers if required.
Ashcrofts is conveniently located to Constantia, the birthplace of South Africa's wine industry. Wine tasting in these historical farms is a must have experience. We offer tours, so you can experience the wonder of it all. No drinking and driving, you just savour the wines. Constantia Valley Wine Route will impress you.
