Some excellent restaurants are situated only two minutes walk away. The Green Point Flea Market is a minute s walk away - on Sundays.
Jambo has five uniquely decorated, luxurious and comfortable double rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Each room is equipped with a safe, TV (M-Net), mini-bar-fridge, telephone, tea/coffee, fan, hairdryer, radio-alarm-clock, down duvet, heaters and the towel rails are electrically heated. Two of the rooms have fireplaces.
The Garden Suite is newly renovated. It opens onto the garden with two sets of teak French doors. It is a very large room with a four-poster double bed and two sitting areas. The bathroom has a corner spa bath, carved mahogany basin unit and mirror, and trompe l oeil paintings on the ceiling and walls.
Guests can relax in Barry s Private Bar (much like an English pub), where we meet, chat, listen to music, or play a game of Kerem.
The small charming Secret Garden has a Koi fish pond, and the newly installed Jacuzzi spa (for those tired muscles, after a day s sightseeing in the Cape).
Jambo Guest House offers style and olde worlde charm, but most of all, sincere and friendly hospitality by the owners Barry and Mina Thomas, who will gladly assist with airport shuttles, car hire, tours, or just friendly advice on places of interest to visit.

African Room This cosy room contains a queen-sized bed, and exudes its own brand of African charm. Rose Room A large sunny room with a view of the garden, containing twin beds and a single sleeper couch. Green Room A cosy room with a Victorian fireplace and a view of the garden. Inside, you will find a large desk, suitable for corporates, or just to write a postcard back home. Bay Room A large and elegant room containing a queen-sized bed with a canopy, a double sleeper-couch, a Victorian fireplace and a Bay window overlooking the garden. Garden Suite A newly renovated suite opening directly onto the garden, containing a four-poster double bed, 2 sitting areas and a single sleeper couch. This suite has it`s own entrance, separate from the main house. The en-suite bathroom boasts a corner spa-bath, a carved mahogany basin unit and Trompe L`oeil paintings on the ceiling and walls.

DirectionsDirections to Jambo from the Airport. Take the N2 towards city. Then follow signs to Sea Point, continue past the Waterfront entrance and exit left at Green Point Stadium traffic circle whilst keeping to the right lane as you need to turn right at the traffic lights.
You are now in Main Road Green Point. Grove Road is the 4th Road to the left (at bus stop number 52) Proceed up Grove Road,Jambo is No.1 on the left. You will be directed to our off street parking at the rear of the property, after check in. Location
