The Ark offers you the opportunity to totally relax and unwind in a tranquil and peaceful setting with a real “home from home” environment. There are spectacular views of the mountains, and views over the bay as far as Quoin Point in one direction and Dangerpoint lighthouse in the other.

• Your room has easy access as it is on the ground floor of the Ark.
• The Oystercatcher Room is a double room with en-suite.
• The Tortoise Room is a double room with en-suite.
• The Seal Room is a larger double room with separate bathroom
• This room can be made up with either a kingsize bed or twin beds,plus a couch or another single bed.

Directions

Follow the N2 out of Cape Town, through Somerset West and over Sir Lowry's Pass. Just after passing Houw Hoek take the R43 on the left heading for Hermanus. Follow the R43 through Hermanus, Stanford and Gansbaai. 20km after Gansbaai. There is a turn-off to Pearly Beach on the right. 3km down this road you enter the village of Pearly Beach. Follow the The Ark B&B brown sign on your left, along Charlie van Breda Road towards the sea, then turn right into Puren Road. The Ark is about 100 metres up Puren Road on the left hand side.
