Our Cabanas are a popular choice of romantic couples, not just because they are spacious and comfortable, but for the lovely views. Each has spacious double bed and lounge area with en-suite shower bathroom;  fully fitted kitchen with fridge, stove and microwave, and breakfast bar. Sliding glass doors open to a private deck with outside tables, chairs and a lounger, facing into the garden and pool area, with spectacular views of Noordhoek lakes.

Silvermine Nature Reserve : Horizon Cottages is situated at the foot of the tranquil Silvermine Reserve ideal for walks and mountain hikes; the Reserve offers an accessible wilderness experience with spectacular views over the South Peninsula, and contains many species of Indigenous Cape Fynbos - including groves of scarce Milkwood and Yellowwood trees. The reserve  forms part of the Table Mountain Park , and is on the Hoerikwaggo Trail; enjoy the whole trail or just overnight in the Silvermine Reserve in the tented camp on the trail

Long Beach Noordhoek : Long Beach is notable for the lack of crowds on its 8 km of pristine white sands. The beach is ideal for surfing, windsurfing, swimming or just a peaceful stroll across to Kommetjie, with its picturesque lighthouse. Explore the skeleton of the Kakapo, wrecked on 26 May 1890 on a journey from Australia.

Historic Simonstown, Naval base and seafaring town with its "Historic Mile " of beautifully Preserved two buildings dating from 17 th Century Dutch to Victorian. No visit to this part of the world is complete without visiting the Boulders Beach penguin colony, one of only two mainland breeding colonies.

 

Cape Point Nature Reserve where you can see the 2 Oceans meet and watch a variety of plains game. Opposite the reserve is an ostrich farm as well as a winery.

Directions

From N1 Highway going towards Cape Town; as you approach Table mountain, pass Century City on your right (biggest shopping mall in Cape Town) take the M5 exit for Muizenberg; travel on this highway (Black River park highway) a short distance and exit left taking the Cape Town N2, travel a short distance keeping to the left lanes, and at the foot of Table Mountain slopes, take the M3 exit left towards Muizenberg. From Cape Town airport take the N 2 Highway to Cape Town, and then take the M3 Muizenberg exit at the foot of the mountain; Travel until the end of this highway- Rhodes Drive- past UCT and famous Bishop's Court. Here it becomes a suburban road for just a short distance. (Edinburgh Drive). Continue on this road without taking any exit and then it become a highway again, (Blue Route Highway) continue across the Constantia valley until you reach a T-junction at the foot of the mountain and turn right towards Fish Hoek and Simonstown. Take the first fork left Ou Kaapse Weg signposted for Fish Hoek and Simonstown and enjoy a wonderful scenic drive over the mountain, do not take the Silvermine Road exit to Noordhoek/Hout bay; carry on and then at the bottom of the mountain, turn right into Noordhoek Avenue M6 (clearly signposted) to Chapman’s Peak drive where there is a big billboard welcoming you to Noordhoek and telling of all of the local attractions. Take the first road to the right into Sea Cottage Drive- we are the log cabin on your left at number 9. There is a sign on the gate, as well as an intercom.
